Pacific Coast Section of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG)

As the new president of the Pacific Coast Section of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), I would like to extend my welcome to all who would like to attend our meetings. We have a very dynamic group of geoscientists that meet once a month at the Petroleum Club in Bakersfield for a luncheon meeting with good food and a topical talk. The meeting is usually on the 1st Wednesday of the month and goes from 11:30 to 1:30.

All are welcome and you don’t need to be a member to attend. I would also like to encourage any of you that might be interested in giving a talk to contact me and we can set up a date for you.

Here are a few examples of the talks that we have had recently at our section meeting.

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in the near future.

Scott M. Mossman
